Requirements
· Degree in food engineering, agro-industrial engineering, chemical engineering, bachelor's degree in food science and technology, bachelor's degree in nutrition or related.
· Minimum of 4 verifiable experience years in similar positions.
· Proven experience leading a quality and food safety management system
· Proven experience leading audits in food plants.
· Knowledge of computer tools (office package)
· Knowledge of the English language (B2)

This role is responsible for all QHSSE operations for all business in the market including Concessions, Airline and Industrial Catering.
Duties include, but not limited to:
People
1. Coordinate, plan and develop induction, recurring, reinforcement or specific training related to food safety and quality according to the established training plan.
2. Maintain fluid communication with the people at the station, customers, suppliers, the corporate team, the food safety committee, local authorities as appropriate.
3. Lead the local food safety team
Customer satisfaction
4. Lead the investigation of customer complaints or claims related to quality and safety, developing action plans when required.
5. Guide and give technical assistance to the station team, customers, suppliers or other stations when required.
6. Coordinate and carry out internal audits of quality control and food safety
Process
7. Manage food safety documentation and records (CCP's, CP's, pest control, microbiological verification, and other prerequisite programs)
8. Carry out inspections of the facilities on a regular and frequent basis to verify compliance and/or deviations, provide immediate corrective actions or necessary preventive actions in the future, in addition to providing an adequate level of support to personnel as necessary.
9. Lead the monthly internal HACCP audit and send it to the corporate management in the established time and manner.
10. Follow up on the progress and closure of the corrective actions resulting from the internal HACCP audits.
11. Promote the improvement of food safety and quality standards throughout the value chain
Regulatory compliance
12. Ensure understanding and compliance with local laws or regulations on food safety and quality.
13. Ensure understanding and compliance with the requirements and standards of GCG Group (Critical Control Points, Control Points and other support programs of the food safety management system).
14. Ensure understanding and compliance with international guidelines and specific customer requirements on food safety. (i.e. Codex Alimentarius, IFSA, Medina Quality-QSAI, IAG among others.
Additional functions to be performed as needed:
• Lead external audits for customers, certification, regulatory entities and carry out support for the execution of action plans if necessary.
• Complete initial diagnosis for new operations in industrial businesses.
• Carry out audits and inspections of suppliers according to the level of risk and in accordance with the annual planning.
• Authorize new suppliers’ prior coordination with the purchasing area.
• Participate in seminars, training, internal or external training (webinars) that help enhance the knowledge associated with the position.
• Collaborate in whatever is required by the corporate office.
• Manage the Hygiene team or general services if applicable the station.
